The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany Respect Life Office provides the Diocesan Respect Life Forum as another opportunity to grow a culture of life in the diocese. This annual meeting will take place at St Ambrose Church Parish Center, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY, on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST. If you are standing in front of the church and facing the church, the Parish Center will be to your left side, opposite the side of the church that the school is on. This event offers attendees an opportunity to: · Learn more about respect life ministry opportunities from around the diocese, including from guest speakers and new respect life ministries, and get involved · Learn about respect life accomplishments in the diocese over the past year and future goals, including important updates and directives for the upcoming year · Share with others and the diocese what you are doing in respect life ministry and how the diocese and others can help support you in your efforts in promoting the Gospel of Life · For respect life ministry leaders and those interested in respect life work to meet one another, socialize, network, and share resources, ideas, accomplishments, goals, updates, and stories Everyone is welcome. A Mother Daughter tea was held at St. Ambrose to educate young women and their mom's about the gift of their fertility and how to develop human relationships that are healthy. Two age appropriate sessions were held. 12 - 14 Year Olds, I Am Wonderfully Made and 15 - 17 Year Olds, Protecting and Preserving the Gift. A light lunch was served with an opportunity for questions and discussion

Sr. Virginia Joy, S.V. and Sr. Pia Jude, S.V. joined over 100 women at St. Ambrose parish in Latham, NY to discuss the beauty of God's design for women.
