St. Pope Paul VI encyclical
Humanae vitae was celebrated on Saturday evening October 20, 2018 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville, NY. It is the 50th Anniversary year of the encyclical and the celebration included a presentation from Dr. Maria Fedoryka, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Department Chair from Ave Maria University in Florida on the Breathtaking Beauty of God's Design for Love and Family.
The celebration included the recognition of the 5th Anniversary of Gianna of Albany. Gianna of Albany is a Catholic Women's Healthcare Clinic that is dedicated to assisting women with fertility within the teaching of the Catholic Church. Dr. Patterson said that over 5 years, there have been over 60 babies born and currently there are 17 babies on the way.
